The best WR in the league is A.J. Green.

Same concept as the QB Rankings.

Assume each WR is paid the same, has a QB who fits the system he plays best in, and that age is only a factor in production - NOT in length of career.

Example: Don't vote for a younger guy than Larry Fitzgerald because Fitzgerald has a few years left only and the younger guy may have more years. DO vote for the younger guy if you think his skills are better THIS year or is a better WR at this stage. Got it?

I don't know WRs as well as QBs, so I'm guessing on who is in the discussion - but am putting the maximum options out there because I'm not that familiar. I realize this first poll isn't likely to be more than a three or four man race. I think I know who's going to win, but can't be sure.

I am not sure how far this series will go, but it will not be the full 32. Please give your real opinion. Thanks.

Mistake in the title.

Force of habit after making so many of these. I made the mistake at the beginning titling it first and then I did the body of the thread and then the poll. By that time, I forgot to go back to check.

Thanks for the heads up. I should always assume that I made a mistake and just look through. Toby Romo, Matt Schsub... ;)

Went with Fitzy. I thought about Thomas or Gordon but ultimately, Larry is still a top tier receiver. It's a crap shoot in any case.

Shouldn't Percy Harvin at least be in the discussion?

Shouldn't Percy Harvin at least be in the discussion?

only because Decker & Jackson seem to be

Sorry about the list of receivers, I just compiled rankings of total yards (durability), YPG (impact per game), YAC (escapabilty or speed), TDs, and YPC. I weighed them all the same and got a list. I listed them in their order on the first poll, but switched a few outside the Top 12 for some inside just based upon familiarity (knowing Calvin Johnson would win). Then, I added in players I knew or were mentioned.

Harvin wasn't on the ESPN list I was looking at (yards) because he didn't play enough games. Decker had Manning and Jackson is a big name with a good past season(s).
