Just 10 points through three games for Hill...I know Solo is trying to be a good teammate and glue guy, but he needs to be more assertive as the Pels need more offense out of him to try and help out AD. He's shown in limited minutes with the Pacers that he's got the ability.

That is exactly who he is though. He is not a playmaker. He is a quality role player who is capable of contributing offensively on occasion. Hill is not the difference maker you have made him out to be.

I had pictured him being a Jae Crowder-type, though. I've seen over-the-years that he has more scoring instincts than Crowder does, however.

Offensive structure is very important for a player with that skill set to post numbers. If the ball moves well, he can. I am not sure how likely that is once Evans comes back though.

Agree with this. But as tlance points out, he's a guy that needs a system where the ball moves. He's not a guy who's going to be creating his own shot. That's not a criticism either. Shows he's smart and stays in his lane.

Well the ability is there for Hill. The Pels didn't fork over $48 million for nothing. Someone needs to step up for this team.

I like the Jae Crowder/DeMarre Carroll comp. Good team player that knows his game and what his role is.

Exactly how he played in college, one of the few 4 year guys at Arizona that made it pro. Huge fan of his.
