A good amount of starters played a little bit in this game.

I am not sure I am opposed to this preseason. We will see if it comes back to bite them in the first couple of games. With the amount of injuries we have ad the past couple years I am all for putting all the starters in bubble wrap.

A slow start would piss me off!

How much true advantage does a few series here and there in preseason really help in the grand scheme? It's vanilla Offensive play calling and vanilla defensive play calling for the most part. You are going to see completely different plays and intensity come opening day ... I think Preseason is great for rookies and 2nd year players, but I can totally understand bubble wrapping the stars and established vets. They just ran joint practices with the Ravens this past week, so both units saw completely different looks; imo way more valuable than these preseason games. They don't even have a preseason in college and they do just fine ... the only reason they don't do away with preseason altogether in the pro's is simply about revenue for the owners.

Cam Newton hurt his ankle (or leg, or something).
P.S. Cam's outfit made him look like a feminine girly boy sissie! LOL.
Bubble wrap, it is very good idea.

As the preseason comes to a close, the eagles first loss week 9 against the bears (week before the week 10 bye) is going off at 90-1 odds, talk about free money...
