To this day I cannot believe how badly the Spanos family has managed the Chargers. It was clear long before AJ Smith was let go this past off season that he sucked as a GM and made some pretty crappy player moves. I don't know what it is with San Diego sports team owners--Donald Sterling, Kroc, CA Smith, Spanos, etc.--but we as a city have been screwed in that regard.

The one move that just looks impossibly bad is that Ryan Mathews trade. It looked bad at the time but I don't think anyone had any idea

I always thought Fluker looked like a Guard prospect in college but he got mad hype because he did well against Mingo

He is a natural guard and I/many have serious reservations about him playing NFL OT. We'll see!

When it came down to AJ va. Marty and Marty lost, my love for the Chargers took a massive hit and I haven't trusted them since with that madman at the helm. I loved Norv but we should have fired him a season sooner and everyone knew it. That cost us a year of rebuilding.

Though I'd love to see the Pats go all the way, I think the D backfield is still suspect. They are solid overall but give up the most stupid plays when the money is on the line.

seems like its been that way since Rothlisberger got there...I always wonder why it hasnt become more of a priority

The sack numbers don't accurately reflect the play of the line. Ben holds the ball longer than anyone in the NFL.

For the patriots, inexperience. I think they have all the pieces but barring the main 4 of Brady, wilfork, mankins, and mayo, there are essentially no veterans who will see significant time on the field. This team is astonishingly young.
