Leclerc should have been used in the 8th inning of the 5-1 loss to the Angels to get some work in and on a pitch count and avoid what turned out to be a 6 day layoff. He would have been available for Sunday’s game but wasn’t needed so he was now coming into Arizona with 1 days rest instead of 6 which is a long layoff for most closers.

Hindsight is 20/20 had we used him for no reason, and then needed him and he was unavailable then you would still be bitching
