Thunder and Pelicans tied with each having 17 games left. The schedule appears to favor the Thunder, but that is assuming all teams play to win which is not always true this time of year. I predict Thunder go 13-4 and New Orleans goes 10-7.

13-4? Without durant?

Bad home loss for the Pelicans....feel for them letting a double overtime home loss happen at home

The Spurs still set the bar by losing 2 straight triple overtime home games in a row

Looks like its down to NO and OKC in the West with Phoenix falling out of it. They're like 2 back but playing poorly. In the East, its still a big log jam from 7th on back. Indy, Charlotte, Miami, Boston, and Brooklyn are all in it and Milwaukee (currently 6th) is falling into that group.

My favorite subplot of all of it is Brooklyn. Thanks to their idiot GM who didn't put any protections on their draft pick in the Joe Johnson trade, Atlanta holds the right to swap picks this year. What's that mean? It means Atlanta could win the Finals (or make it there), Brooklyn wins the lottery and Atlanta swaps pick rights. A championship and the #1 pick in the same year. LOLNETS.

Don't look now but the Heat are only 2.5 behind Milwaukee for 6th.

Suns-Pelicans today.

We are without Len and Knight though so that doesn't help.

It's almost that time to start folding up the tent and looking at who to draft, Sting.

You already have Knight and Goodwin. So, go get Cauley-Stein and start building up that front court.

Yeah, it's been that way for a while now. I have no idea how we're still so close at least in terms of games back, but in reality it's been over since we dealt Dragic & Thomas. I'd love Cauley-Stein but he won't be there when we pick, we're likely picking 13th so someone like Harrell from Louisville could be an option. I think we need a 4 more than anything right now. I'm comfortable with Len/Wright for now, but Markieff Morris has no backup and that's been our weak-link all year long.

Yeah, Willie is going top-10.

I wanted him to come out last year and I'm convinced the Clippers would have picked him if he were still on the board.

At #14 you will probably have your pick between Harrell, Turner, Portis and Looney....maybe Lyles.

Of course, I'm partial to Looney!

If I was the Warriors I would tank this game against the Pelicans if it means staying awa from OKC in the first round. OKC at full strength is the onl team in the West that would be favored over the Warriors.

I agree. 74-72 and the Pelicans didn't even have Davis. For the eighth spot, I see OKC getting it because Westbrook has been able to carry them without Durant, and with Durant returning soon, they will be at full strength heading into the playoffs. Also, the health of Davis, the Pelicans' main player, has been a large concern.

Also, is it just me or have the Suns tanked ever since the Dragic trade?

They would not be favored over the warriors. Warriors in 6 or 7. Not a true champion if you tank against New Orleans
