I think this would be far and away the best scenario. Those are the three teams that have a lot to put together but are the scariest if they actually get their issues solved.

I think OKC & Indy are basically locks unless more injuries happen.

Miami is questionable especially considering all the injuries. They need to stay healthy but I think it will be them or Charlotte who gets 8th.

Good news for Miami is that there is a posssibility McRoberts return in April and for the playoffs if we make it

I wouldn't say Indy is a lock. There would be a pretty deflating effect if something happened to Paul George, imo. I think that team is playing hard under the notion that they could be really good with PG but you still have to go through growing pains of bringing back an injured guy.

Trust me they're a lock. Their schedule in March is pretty easy with a ton of home games. I feel like they'll be at least 3+ games up on Miami/Charlotte entering April

I think the playoffs are better with them in it. Ideally, the playoffs are best with a healthy Miami, too, but I'm not sure if that will happen.

In the East, its race for the 7 seed, too. I wouldn't want to play Atlanta in rd1

I agree. I think Miami even without Bosh would be scarier to face than Charlotte as long as Dragic, Wade, Deng, & Whiteside are healthy....McBob can give teams trouble if he returns also.

Miami schedule is pretty soft for the next 2 weeks are so. If they can go on a roll here I love our chances to make the playoffs.

Also with the way Milwaukee/Washington is playing it is not crazy to think that one of them get passed by Indiana

Thunder in the West. Pacers and Hornets in the East

I think Charlotte is a scarier team to face than Miami once they get Kemba back. Only because Bosh is done of the year though of course. Mo Williams has been lighting it up with them, Big Al is a stud, MKG and Henderson are decent wings, and then Kemba timeee. Lance has been such a bad fit there though… my lord.

Also, the Bucks are insane for trading Knight for MCW. Knight is YOUNGER than him and he'll get his pay day before the salary cap rises unlike MCW, so there's a good chance they'll cost about the same long term even if Knight costs more for the next two years.

Their team was doing just fine with Knight running the show… now, not so much.

Milwaukee goes 10-10 then Indiana has to go 16-4 to pass them. If Milwaukee goes 9-11 Indiana has to go 15-5. To get the 5th seed they probably can only lose 4 games max. Unlikely IMO

Have you seen Washington play lately? They're 4-13 over the last 17 games. Milwaukee looks like shit since they traded Knight also.

Anyway let's look at WSH/Indy schedule until they play each other on the 25th.

WSH- @ CHA, VS MEM, VS SAC, VS POR, @ UTA, @ LAC, @ SAC, & @ GSW- Based on how they're playing now I say they go 2-6 or 3-5 if they're lucky.

Indy- VS ORL, VS MIL, VS Boston, VS TOR, @ CHI, @ CLE, VS BKLY, & VS HOU. I say Indy goes 5-3 or 6-2.

Let's say Indy goes 5-3 while Washington goes 2-6, this means would only be 2 losses behind Washington entering their game on the 25th and could be 2 losses behind them if they win that night.

Milwaukee schedule is tough also. 5th seed is possible for Indy. Here is Milwaukee schedule before they play Indy on the 26th.

VS NO
VS ORL
@Indy
@Memphis
@ NO
VS SAS
@ Brooklyn
VS CLE
VS MIA

I got Milwaukee at 3-6 or 4-5 during this stretch....That puts them at 34 or 35 losses before they play Indy on the 26th.

With Brooklyn, Detroit, & Boston all losing tonight it is looking more and more like Indy, Miami, & Charlotte will be fighting for the final 2 spots out east.

Indy beat Milwaukee tonight.

Only 3.5 back with more than a month to go.

Yeah no way can they catch and pass Milwaukee :L

Thunder and Pelicans tied with each having 17 games left. The schedule appears to favor the Thunder, but that is assuming all teams play to win which is not always true this time of year. I predict Thunder go 13-4 and New Orleans goes 10-7.
