True that, but a free weekend in Hawaii with the family doesn't suck. I think a lot of the players like interacting with players from other teams in a non combat environment too. But as far as games go, the NFL pro bowl definitely sux much more than the comparable game from the other major sports

The Pro Bowl sucks so it doesn't really matter, but I think Jason Verrett and Allen Robinson were good enough to make it(both are first alternates).

He's had a good solid season. He really stepped up when you guys moved on from Browner and Revis. Count me as one of the guys who thought NE's secondary was going to take a huge hit, but it never happened.

Count me in too. I thought we were going to get slaughtered. He's actually decent.

Still don't want to face the Steelers in the playoffs though...

Thought Adam Jones might get more consideration. According to PFF, he's allowed only 300+ yards and 1 TD all season.

Now, I don't know how that compares, and there are more DB's out there that might be deserving more so than Jones, so not a big complaint. Just thought he'd be higher than 7th alternate.

Even the week where they lost to the Lions at home and the refs saved them? Or when AZ marched in and smacked them? Beating the Cowboys (sans Romo) by 1 didn't feel like a pro bowl either.
