Thought it would be fun to look at the other side of the coin and everyone give me their player they are hoping the Lions DON'T draft at #23.

Mine is Arik Armstead of Oregon. See him ranked all over the place but a first round talent because of measureables. Dude looks lost on the football field though.

1st round backs don't usually pan out, and I don't think he's the "generational talent" type player to go chasing a bad position with our top pick...

Kyle Long (DaBears RG) came from same system as a RT/LG.... also became 2nd team All-Pro and Pro Bowl at RG

LaAdrian Waddle came from Texas Tech 3-step gimmick offense... he faired pretty well when healthy

Fisher won't be a RT or LT in the NFL unless an injury forces that issue or a GM is that desperate and dumb. Fisher to LG, yes.

agree 1,000,000,000,000,000,000% detroit shouldn't have to draft a tight end for the next decade.

other than TE -- any RB. With all the running back by committee in the NFL, there is no reason to spend a 1st round pick in a deep draft for the position in the 1st round.

Where did anyone bash Ebron? All that was said is -- we do not want to see another TE drafted, no matter who it is, in the 1st round.
