Washington is a two dimensional team, period, end of sentence. They throw short to midrange passes and they run the ball, that's it and that's also the problem. Without that third option (the deep ball) they are reduced to winning with short to midrange passes as teams take away the run. Therein lies the Pierre Garcon problem. This week J. Gruden informed us that contrary to earlier iterations about Rashawn Ross' s lack of playing time, the real reason he's not playing is because he plays the same position as Pierre G arcon. Seems like there's no solution outside of alternating them, right? Wrong!!! Where would Jackson be playing were he healthy? OK, let's say that Gruden is correct, then move Garcon, he knows the offensive passing tree and should be as good or better playing elsewhere. The team needs the speedier Ross in the game more at this point than concerns with a player being upset because he needscto play elsewhere.
