Anyone else happen to catch Roy Williams saying they timed Michael Jordan in the 40 his sophomore year and he ran a 4.38. 6'6", what a wide out he would have made. Probably a better B.ball player but still. Imagine that nightmare slanting down the field.

I know, I know, Carl Malone at TE or Lebron James... Just thought that forty time was pretty damn fast.

I like Charles Barkley's take on the idea of Bball players playing in the NFL. He basically says football players are crazy, and that bball players are too soft, himself included.

Basically, an emphatic, HELL NO.

Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham among a few others say hi.

I mean, this is in a scenario (I'm assuming) where Jordan played the sport his whole life leading up to being drafted. With an entirely different workout routine where he packs on muscle. I don't see an argument where arguably the greatest athlete (and arguably the most psychotic competitor) ever to walk the planet who is 6'6 and runs a 4.38 would not have been successful in NFL football.

Tell it to Chuck.

Tell it to Antonio Gates, Julius Peppers, Jimmy Graham, Cornell Green, etc.

Two of our three TE's on this very team didn't start out as football players in college in Graham and Harris.

If those guys can do it. Jordan sure as hell can.

The thing that made Jordan great was his competitiveness. Skill too, but is competitiveness would have made him great at any sport. Tell me who would match up with MJ if he was a TE? He would be a monster.

I think Dennis Rodman would’ve been a better football player.
