Anyone ever seen a game there? MSU plays PSU there in early January, thinking of making a roadtrip. It's very historic, it's on a lot of people's best venues in college hoops but I'm wondering if it's worth the 10 hour drive. I don't really have any connection to Big 5/basketball out east so I'm worried us Midwesterner outsiders will not understand or appreciate it like others (A10, Big East, Ivy League fans) would.

I've been there but haven't ever watched a game there. IMO it's definitely worth the experience, especially since MSU will be playing there. It is a unique gym for sure.

I've never been there, but it is one of the most historic venues in all of College Hoops. It has to be worth the drive.

If they were playing Nova or Temple I would not think twice. PSU has been really really bad though for years.

Penn State should be much improved this season because they've recruited well the last couple years. But you're right they aren't Nova or even Temple. MSU vs. Nova would make for an incredible game, especially this season.
