What's the point of counting cards now anyways? Hasn't every Casino moved to those autoshufflers that constantly cycle cards?

Even with a six-deck shoe where they only deal 2/3 of the cards . . it is still extremely difficult to gain an advantage.

Smarter men than I have told me that the only way to win money gambling over time is be excellent at poker or good at the sports book/horse track. Everything else is just entertainment you pay for.

There are not many constant shuffle games that I'm aware of in our state. Customers won't play on them at all so they aren't common.

You can find hand held double deck games in all of the tribes here.

They don't tend to rate players that aren't playing tall money and I'm nothing more than a little fish. I stay to a $10-$50 spread and stick to the illustrious 18. I worked surveillance for 14 years and know how the rating programs rank play so I also know how to cover those with decisions that don't vary the odds much but look wrong to the programs.

Anyone trying to beat a 6 deck game consistently is wasting their time, but the 6 deck games up here cut 1 deck off and have typically very liberal rules like resplit aces. The only point to counting those would be to mitigate expected losses more than attempting to gain an overall advantage.

I should say that my wife likes to play slots, but isn't much of a gambler. If she wins $20 she quits. However, it's slots so she doesn't win much. I tend to only play enough blackjack to overcome the cost of dinner, any losses I take from paigow, and her slot losses.

And yes, no one should ever gamble and expect to come out ahead unless they are very skilled at poker and are looking at investing a lot of time in that. It should be viewed as entertainment. We don't hit the casinos more than a couple of times a year.

Oregon finished their 2020 schedule they will have 3 non conference home games North Dakota State, Ohio State and Hawaii. Due to even year that is 4 home conference games so 7 total home.
