Ive got some preseason weariness. Hoping we don't have another letdown

It does seem as though a lot of things are set up well in SC's favor this year.

Anything less than 10 wins this season, will be a disappointment.

As hard as it is to not fish while I am looking at the ocean and the cousins dory is 5 miles away makes me an all star husband and dad imho.

I haven't been to Spirit Mountain in like a decade....it's kind of off the beaten path.

I always set a limit when i gamble. Usually 50 as i gamble i keep going reset the limit up to 50 when I'm up but when i lose 50 I stop. Ive hit 6k that way and still stopped once i lost 50. That also tends to get you a free room because they figure it will keep you going and they will get their money back and yours. But I take the free room and find other shit to do. I get greedy

This is exactly what I do, only opposite. When I lose 50 I reset the limit to 50...

My father was an awful gambler. I watched him lose way too much money because he couldn't stop. When i started i started by setting that limit and refusing to go past it. Its worked out quite well over the years. I play roulette a lot but the most I've made. Was on a slot called slots for dummies I do much better betting CFB through a bookie and NFL week 1. But I try to limit that too

If I gamble I either stick to counting cards (blackjack) or stick to social games and avoid the supposed big payout bonus games as they are all horribly rigged for the house. Hard rule is if you double your bankroll going in stop and quit. Doesn't matter if that is just 3 or 4 hands. Take your win and move on. Of course that's not for counting cards. Ride that pony as long as you are hot. Be firm on your bankroll and don't go over it no matter what.

What's the point of counting cards now anyways? Hasn't every Casino moved to those autoshufflers that constantly cycle cards?

Smarter men than I have told me that the only way to win money gambling over time is be excellent at poker or good at the sports book/horse track. Everything else is just entertainment you pay for.
