The USC honk might know what went on behind the scenes with dad getting involved, but there could be more to this story considering they're talking about title IX and violence against women issues.

I'd hold off on claiming some rich daddy got him kicked out of USC just cause the player banged his daughter. Sounds like a lot more was going on behind the scenes.

Some rumors flying around about him wanting the pro style offense USC went away from.

Sark runs a pretty strong pro-style offense. Not sure that's specifically it, but may have to do with Sark also running the hurry up more and this kid is looking for a program that's more pure drop back and slower paced.

If they are invoking Title IX in order to appease a wealthy donor, they need to be smacked within an inch of their lives. Title IX is important. It's shouldn't be trivialized by being used as a matter of convenience.

That said, I don't think that the powers that be at USC would be so stupid as to set themselves up by trivializing it. They certainly can imagine who that would bite them in the collective ass.

You nailed it from the start. He went to visit a boy with cancer yesterday and posted a couple pics playing catch, helping tie shoulder pads, giving a BG helmet to kid. Tate was wearing a Gig em t shirt.

No. He was atrocious. He always seems like he is pushing it too hard.

He definitely will play and succeed in Canada or AFL. He is a good qb when he relaxes.

lol, pretty dumb to wear any gear if you are trying to create a media event over your decision just days away.

Having UW on his board was just a token thing to begin with. He committed to Sark and Sark is gone. Can't blame the kid. Well, except even making an announcement now is stupid. I'm really not in favor of kids making verbals more than a year before their eligibility. It's not good for the kids and doesn't really do anything for the university.

I don't know if the "rich daddy" thing is true or just students making crap up on twitter or whatever. To me, that sounds like r*pe, but I haven't seen anything about police being notified, charges pressed or even an investigation by any entity other than USC's Title IX office.

He says he told the truth and hasn't done anything wrong. He is also fighting pretty hard to stay at USC given what he's accused of.

The whole thing just seems kind of odd.

If he did what he's accused of, I hope nddulac is right and he's just on borrowed time with getting the judge to stay his expulsion and I hope he goes to jail. If he truly did nothing wrong, then I hope he gets re-instated. Either way, it will be up to USC and the court to sort it all out.

This will be a super young team as it is. Won't really know what they have until they hit the field. They won't even name a starting QB until probably a week or two before the Boise game.
