Where does this info come from Trojanman?

And this, jim?

I don't know where you guys are getting your info from but I am a Father of a young lady and if there were some sexual misconduct allegation made by my daughter, I would stand by her side whether charges were able to stick or not.

Also, the Title IX investigator who is specifically trained in this area found cause to suspend your TE. Why the support for this kid over supporting your Title IX investigator? Could it be Dr Allee wont be catching TD's for y'all? :L

Also, tf in your link, the woman involved here was a USC Athletic Trainer, not a student.

I just don't understand the collaborated effort to get this kid coming from within the USC family if there wasn't some teeth to the story.

You need to just stop. Way to infer a bunch of crap that isn't happening. First of all, in my original post, I said that if USC has any evidence that he did what he was accused of, USC should present it and be done with him. Otherwise, this is the result of an accusation that apparently comes down to he said/she said.

Additionally, an actual judge, who presumably has been to law school, graduated and practiced law long enough to actual BE a judge, found that there wasn't enough evidence to support his expulsion.

Also, what "collaborated effort to get this kid"? It went before the Title IX investigator once and was dismissed. She then made a second allegation against him and that one was upheld and he was expelled. He feels he told the truth, did nothing wrong and took his case to court where the judge sided with him.

And for the record, I am a father to 3 girls and I would also stand by any of them if they made such an allegation. However, I would also understand if there wasn't evidence to support her case.

Not really surprising. It didn't look like he was going to be seeing the field any time soon. Kessler is locked in for this year, Max Browne is said to be looking real good and apparently is ready to start now if he were needed. Plus we have Sam Darnold who was the #4 ranked "dual threat" quarterback as well.

Basically, looks like he got caught up in the numbers. Hopefully, he does well wherever he ends up.

I am not inferring any crap, maybe like you I should have said, if true.... I am asking where all of this info is coming from, and that is fair.

The point here, an SC Athletic Trainer made the allegations, the USC Title IX PhD Assistant Director who is specifically trained is sexual misconduct issues and works on a major university campus made the expulsion so there is a collaborative effort coming from inside the USC family and if true, this USC alum Father is involved too increase that point.

The actual judge who you hold in high esteem, I presume only ruled on the due process aspect which is the USC process in place, another aspect which railroads this kid from within if indeed he is innocent.

For the sake of civility, I hope the kid is innocent, but in reality these things happen everywhere all the time and it's more of an indictment on our society in my estimation than toward any specific school or our specific allegiances to them.

Nearly every time I side with the accuser. Many on this board would say to a fault.

This seems really fishy.

Interesting mix of schools he's considering.

Must be considering some new ones. It was said to be a toss up between Texas a&m and southern cal.

Some rumors flying around about him wanting the pro style offense USC went away from.

I know tf is protective in these types of situations of the boys of Troy and I hope I don't appear overzealous just because I'm a UCLA honk because I think the only way SC could look bad in this situation is if in fact the kid is innocent.

The un-collaborated details shared here on this thread so far paint an awful story either way if this kid is innocent or if he is guilty.

What engendered my response in the first place was the race issues painted here of the so called white father using his influence with USC. As a white father, I don't care what color the kid who my daughter says violated her, because I trust her 100%! With that I would not be so understanding and show the restraint that tf has testified to here given the lack of chargeable criminal evidence.

But it isn't your daughter and and you aren't the father of the female in question.

From what I have gathered it's a white chick that likes a black football player, they bang. And rich white daddy gets pissed because she is w/ a blac guy. If that is the case, it's wrong.

I don't know that to be the case, but that is what I am reading from USC Twitter. Either bad look on the fans or bad look on rich white daddy.

If true, it's absolutely wrong!

But there is more to the picture to consider than all that. Dixon was charged with & then found to violate some pretty harsh sections of the USC student code, then lost on his appeal on many counts by the Vice Provost for student affairs.

That's all I'm going to say about this, unless prompted. Just remember, we probably wont ever hear Daddy or Daughter summaries of the situation on twitter like we are hearing in support of Dixon.

In re: Bryce Dixon

What a fracking mess. From yahoo: (Tight end Bryce Dixon will not be reinstated to USC football team | Dr. Saturday - Yahoo Sports
Dixon, a tight end, was expelled from the university in May following a Title IX sexual misconduct investigation. However, a Los Angeles judge this week issued a stay to put Dixon’s expulsion on hold, granting a petition Dixon filed in court on Wednesday.

Dixon’s attorney’s claimed the school’s investigation into his alleged sexual misconduct did not allow for due process. He hoped to rejoin the football team, but in a statement, USC said that would not happen.
Now - I don't know anything about a rich alumnus whose daughter was involved and am not going to comment on that.

But it sounds to me like Dixon was granted a stay while his case is being considered (or in the queue to be considered.) That seems like a correct legal action, since if his case is upheld, barring him from enrolling would cause him undue harm. So the stay is enacted to eliminate the potential harm.

As for not reinstating him to the football team, I also think this is the correct move. At some point, playing football has to be seen as a privilege rather than an entitlement. You can make a case that barring him from enrolement causes excessive harm, but you can't make the same claim about playing football.

In any case, if my assessment is correct (which it may not be - I could be completely off base in fact since I am mostly guessing based on a few things I have read) Bryce Dixon will end up with his expulsion upheld once a court has a chance to determine if the USC process was followed.

I think he is working on borrowed time.

Added in edit: I guess I should have read further. USC's statement says exactly what I presumed to be true.

Interesting mix of schools he's considering.

Been hearing rumblings that he's in love with the hurry up spread Sumlin runs and A&M is the behind the scenes fav to land him.
