And I'm cool with Leach not getting the COY I just think it's ridiculous that a conference that is trying to prove it's the best in the country has co anythings, it's so WAC

Cool, so you admit your team is a fraud then as well right? Their best win was against an Oregon team without their starting QB so surely that win doesn't count either.

Your defense gave up 443 yards in that game. What part of Falk's absence caused that? Gaskin burned you for 138 yards on the ground. I guess Falk would have actually tackled if he played? Your pass rush was weak as hell. I'm guessing Falk would have had at least 5 sacks? And you let a true frosh QB throw for over 200 yards. Falk was sure missed in that secondary wasn't he?


Quit with the excuses. It just makes you look more butt hurt than everyone already knows you are.
The better team won that day and it wasn't even close.

Beat the Trees sounds weird. Still can't get used to it.

thats because they arent the trees. the mascot isnt the same as the school or the nickname. No one says beat the blue tick coon hounds when they play tennessee. no one says beat reveille when they play Texas A&M

Probably aren't any other schools only known as a color either. They too would have made up nicknames to compensate. Only other school I can even think of that is a color is Syracuse, but at least they have the advantage of sharing the color with a fruit.

Trees, furd, ferd, nerds, lots of different ways to address them and everyone knows who you mean. Not like people don't have such things for other schools like the condoms, domers, or barners.

TF I may regret this hubris, but the band mascot of the tree is a tree you can't smoke, and made of a wood that a trojan can't cover. If Stanford loses I will be feeling my shame on this for a long time.

Congrats to @SUBuddha and the Trees. Way too many mistakes and waaaaaaayyyyyy too much Christian McCaffrey. That kid deserves serious Heisman love.

Worst part......he's a sophomore. So the PAC gets another year of him.

Very proud of the team. They fought hard but if this doen't make you see why Wilcox needs to go then nothing will. The defense played hard but they didn't load up to stop #5 and at times just let him roam all alone. That's unacceptable terrible coaching. You match up and have someone at least with similar speed (a CB) follow him out of the backfield. No excuse leaving him alone or a bigger player on him,. The running he did was bad enough but they were still in the game. But the times he left the backfield like he was nobody killed them.

Congrats Stanford. The better team won.

Dogs are for sure in a bowl since there aren't enough 6-6 teams to fill the allotment as it is, but what really matters is that gives them all those extra practices to get a leg up on next year. They will probably win, but against some podunk second tier team.
