Beautiful sunny day at the park with the family and they won 3-2 in a close nail biter game. It was pretty awesome.

We take the light rail train to not have to deal with parking and driving down there. On the way back we sat next to one of those techno elitist snob kind of people that are pretty much everywhere in Seattle. He works for some tech company that is helping with the apps for the google glass. I got a chance to play with it and see what it is all about. Pretty freaking crazy. It's like watching a real monitor and when it speaks to you it sounds like the voice is in your head. The voice recognition is pretty advanced and does a better job than most phones do.

Yeah, it was a good day for sure.

Mariners won. That 9th inning took a few years of my life. Solid win.

I was out bike riding on the Burke Gilman trail most of the afternoon and watched the game at home while my legs ached. Looked like an amazing night at the SafeCo. Days like this are why the PACNW is the best part of this country.

Huskies won. Sounders won. Mariners won. Excellent day for WA sports.

Ok. So here is what I think on the Duck Husky thing.

We are all guilty of starting it with a post that gets the other fan base rustled. Don't act like we all haven't done it.

So if we need to be civil with each other for a little while I can as well.

But let's stop pretending it is one sided. It isn't. One person from Duck camp says something, a Husky responds over the top. And absolutely that goes both ways.

So maybe a peace treaty until the season or some sech if that is what I am reading here Wiz. 2 weeks before season? Do we have to set a date? lol.

Because I assure you, we can't be civil all year. We have the right to talk smack to Huskies and of course that also goes both ways. If UW was to beat Oregon I am sure you all would have plenty to say. And if Oregon beats UW we are going to want to talk.

So what are we asking here Wiz? I am game for some peace time if it is bothering you.

Ducks are ducks. All I've said this week is these assertions that it's all us and there is nothing the ducks have done is BS. I didn't really get involved until you came to the UW board and trolled us there. To me that crossed the line BIG TIME and I don't care what regent did first. I'll admit I don't read long posts by either side. I really don't. At most I'll read the first and maybe the last sentence or paragraph. So maybe I missed something, but I haven't read anything Regent has ever said that should cause otherwise good people to go attack a team board. If I'm to understand you right it's not any particular language but the relentless nature of his posts? If that's true then all ducks but you can put him on ignore. I get that mods don't do that, but can't you just look past his stuff? I mean if he isn't name calling and do anything more than the typical taunting then what exactly is he doing that should get him the threat of being banned?

I'm not asking for anything. Well, besides leave our team board as the no fly zone it is supposed to be. I start shit, you start shit, and so does everyone in the rivalry. I'm just going to share my views of it when it happens.

If you want a truce I don't have any problems with it. I've had plenty of normal conversations with you, oly, donkey and even OD since he has mellowed. You know I can go along with whatever, but neither of us speak for all of our base lol. I can no sooner suggest no husky will say something than you can the more fringe of your group. Any 'truce' is always sort of a suggestion and loose more than anything firm.

The google glass thing sounds really cool. I've been to Seattle several times and had family in Tacoma. I lived in Seattle for a little while as a kid. Sunny days there were always so beautiful. Makes me miss SoCal when the Santa Ana winds came through and blew all the smog out. Glad you guys had a good day.

Called it. Although I will say the idea of a truce was only suggested and not finalized, but as long as there are shots fired across our deck you can't expect it not to be returned. Once again, we didn't start it (just for the record).

And I don't know where Mamba got the idea I was asking for people to stop anyway. Having OD go back off his meds would at least increase the entertainment factor of this site during the boring summer months. Don't you dare put him back in time out mods.

While I have no problem with the status quo, I don't know if everyone agrees with you. I'd have to imagine many get tired of the same old back and forth between both team's fans. I might be one of the worst offenders of that, but as I've said I pretty much never read long posts by others and assume few read all of mine. Just skim the first line or pass those long ones by and carry on with your day.
