"were gonna run the snot outta da gophers this weekend….NOT THE FUCKIN GOLFERS!"
Sorry Waz, I will try not to sit on your jeep when I smoke. Though if Stanford beats SC I may sit there with a stogie just for the hell of it.No kidding, my girls woke up and said there was a blood moon so I went outside and it my jeep looked like a some 90 chainsmoker has been sitting on it all night flicking her ash on it.
Good luck, I just may fire up one of these too if y'all beat SC, but I'll do it here in LA, or on Vacation the following week.if Stanford beats SC I may sit there with a stogie just for the hell of it.
SC remains the huge favorite in the South, and the only team who can beat them in the South is themselves...
If they get derailed, I don't think an SC poster on here will pin a mojo curse on you, because they should all know the South is theirs to lose.
FIFYYou pussies in Western Oregon and Western Washington need to man up. Down here in SoCal, what you guys are experiencing is just fire season.
You need to get yourselves some asbestos lungs.
Seriously though, hope you all are safe.
FIFY
No fires around Spokane, but the smoke is all over here. Air Index is in the "Hazardous" level. 300 particulate bullshit, not supposed to go outside for any length of time.D you over in eastern dealing with the fires?
As if it wasn't already enough, add to that bad mojo that I and other UW fans actually have to pull for your team to win (I almost just threw up). So there's that.Once McCaffery left for the NFL thought I wouldn't be so damn nervous playing the Trees but now with the Wiz voodoo hex on I'm really biting my nails. lol. I'm more nervous than the Alabama game last year. At least there I did'nt think they had much of a shot and so I just had a good time in Dallas the days prior.
Finally got to see the fires in Oregon on TV and wow that looks like what we get here. I hope its just trees that get burnt up (an omen?). lol

And if you want the way too early to think about angle, they need a very high ranked opponent in the CCG should they reach it to help offset the shitty schedule if they have any hopes of reaching the playoffs. You have to root for them to lose. As much as you hate USC you need the Trees to drop a game or two.

It's the game of the week for a number of reasons and I'm sure every fan in the Pac will be watching to see if either/both teams look legit. The outcome might not be as important as seeing how good both teams actually look. I'm mostly interested in seeing how Stanford's offense looks against a defense with a pulse. That Rice game wasn't much of a challenge.I think the games a win win for you. Either USC loses or Stanford loses.

Stanford has meat on both lines. That's nothing new. They have talent in other areas. I just haven't seen much out of their QB position in recent years that gives much worry and now it's time to see how they replace the productivity of McCaffrey. Sure, they have other weapons, but he was a rare and special player they have make up for.Well as a Trojan fan I'm worried about the interior defense. Stevie is gone and until the second half when Cam Smith was done with his suspension they couldn't slow down the running of Western Michigan. Now i don't know if USC was playing vanilla to not show too much and they aren't as bad there as it looked or if they really have issues. You know how important is having your best linebacker in the game. I think Stanford will have success running but I think USC dials it up on offense and can outscore them. What I'm worried about is Stanford going on long ass drives and only letting USC have the ball a couple times in a quarter making USC have to score every time they have the ball or else they fall behind.

In reality, be safe folks near the fires. Just checked I fly to MT tomorrow for work, and for once there are no fires near where I am going.

I think USC is the more complete team, but that doesn't mean they will win.
