What to know about the Elite 11 QB Recruit Finals <--- Washington has two QB's on there.
Projecting offensive line has to be the most difficult of all positions in the jump from college to pros isn't it?
I mean Jake was solid for UW, but the pro game is so much different.
UW doesn't run a pro style offense (but then few in college do these days). You can't really put them into a firm type as it is. They run some spread, some zone blocking schemes, and use a lot of exotic formations. They ask their kids to do a lot of different things from game to game. So all of the linemen have had quite a few things thrown at them in their time in that program. Petersen is known for his 'gimmick' or exotic offensive looks.
It also means you can't completely evaluate them as they might appear in a pro style front. UW spends a lot of time in 2 TE sets and unbalanced/flooded sets. They are asked to do things quite a bit differently than they will at the next level.
More appropriate for the Pac12 thread, 7 Pac12 schools have at least one kid in the 25 QB field. What to know about the Elite 11 QB Recruit Finals <--- Washington has two QB's on there.

wait im confused. last summer all i heard was Oregon cant recruit QBsAll I know is right now USC has the best QB out there or the best fit for them . Washington, UCLA , Oregon WSU all have great QBs and looks like the pipeline is still rolling.
I'm excited about Matt Corral but it's cool to not need him yet.
wait , what year did Oregon last recruit a QB that mattered? Its 2017 now. You shouldn't be confused. What was it maybe six years since Oregon got it right? Even a blind squirrel ......wait im confused. last summer all i heard was Oregon cant recruit QBs

Goodness, the Washington kid has to be tough with a name like Yankoff.More appropriate for the Pac12 thread, 7 Pac12 schools have at least one kid in the 25 QB field.
Cooper, Cammon Washington State
Corral, Matthew USC
Sirmon, Jacob Washington
Stenstrom, Blake Colorado
Thompson-Robinson UCLA
Tuttle, Jack Utah
West, Jack Stanford
Yankoff, Colson Washington
And of course we are quite a ways off from signing day so none of these are set in stone by any means.
You Forgot about Mr. Sears

From what I've read.Sears has looked really good as an EE.Corral continues to look great after the high school transfer. He just won a longest throw competition hitting 70 yards. Both look to be in the mold of Darnold. As far as mobility and passing. Its should be very interesting to see who takes the reigns after Darnold hits the NFLYou Forgot about Mr. Sears
Reminds me of the DL twins at UCLA a few years back. I'll never forget listening the the Bruins game on a drive home one day when the Ball brothers arrived at the QB at the same time.Great combo. Cant wait till the stand next to each other. lol
QB Yankoff
TE Dizzly
I was looking for the actual quote, what I wrote is how I remember it, I think it was in 2003 but I do know it was vs Washington.Reminds me of the DL twins at UCLA a few years back. As Chris Robert's call went... "It's a twin Ball sack on the Washington QB"
yet now you are claiming they are continuing a pipeline. so which is it?wait , what year did Oregon last recruit a QB that mattered? Its 2017 now. You shouldn't be confused. What was it maybe six years since Oregon got it right? Even a blind squirrel ......
they would be but that wont happen unless both win 2 games tomorrow. But UW has had Oregon's number all season. an all Pac final would be awesome thoughya'll ready to play Oregon again…ssshhhhh here comes the duxz.
Its not what you think. I meant pipeline of great QBs in the pac. It looks like Oregon might have a pretty good one. But everything I said before rings true. Not even someone good enough to start since MM was signed like six years ago.yet now you are claiming they are continuing a pipeline. so which is it?
