I think it might have more to do with their projected draft slots, home situation and injury concerns not a chance at future success.
I dont think so. They are both projected pretty high if not first round.
A lot of sites have them projected high.Especially Adoree. And I think the thorpe award is going to add to that. He may kill the combine when he declares. Juju has been saying he's waiting for Adoree to decide. Adoree does want to compete in the track World Championships in London next year.Which may influence his decision. I don't believe he can go if in the NFL. I'm hoping they both come back. But i think its about 50/50

That's why I think decent shot they leave. As fans I get it, get the band back together and try to win it all again.

Oh dont get me wrong. They have the talent and they will go high if they do leave. It just sounds like they might want to accomplish more at USC and are thinking about staying. Ultimately the money could be to good to pass up and I wouldn't blame them.

There was a reason why Marcus Peters left UW, as well as Nate Dogg's kid and Darren Gardenhire. There are plenty of blue chip guys that buy into BFL/OKG philosophy
This. Obviously they're not out looking for a bunch of 2 star guys because they like the cut of their jib. But I think there's something to finding guys who will fully buy into your system, and not going after a top recruit just because you can. One of the concerns among our fan base when he was hired was 'cool, but can he do it in the pac 12?' The answer so far looks like yes. I never really had that concern, figured why not? The difference is, while at Boise he had to rely on 2 and 3 star guys with maybe a 4 star guy every now and then, at Washington he'll have the resources to land consistent 3 and 4 star guys with some 5 star guys sprinkled in.

On the bright side if they chose to leave. SC is pretty deep at wr.And its really good they got jack jones the game experience they did this year.

At UW's recruiting boards they are projecting 18 scholarships, even though we only have 11 seniors, you always lose 2-3 to transfers/medical, but the staff was expecting to lose 5-6 kids to the draft. One of them is returning only due to injury.

Dawg fans, how do you feel about having Victor put on 20 pounds and dropping him into the BUCK slot next year? DJ Beavers looks really good right now.

Not against it. We'll need someone to take the Mathis role, we've missed him. He might have filled in in that spot at some point this year if he didn't go out too.

I dislike how they recruiting classes. Use average star ranking, not total points. Arizona was leading for awhile because they had 30 commits

I don't know the exact number but going back to 2000 the NC winner hasn't had an average lower than somewhere around 3.5- 3.6 for the previous four years recruiting classes. Teams have come close most notably Oregon but thats been the case with the winner.

Recruiting class numbers are overrated by scrubs. Most people on this board are as professional at scouting people as most of these "websites".

I've said regarding Foster Sarell I'd never blame anyone for choosing to go to Stanford. Still, what a terrible decision...

Some reports that Taggart has offered the DC job to Charlie Strong. As a coordinator, he wouldn't come cheap which is probably why Oregon opened the checkbook for the new assistants payroll. It's pretty obvious what the strategy is for the Ducks is right now.

Strong has also been mentioned as a lead candidate for the South Florida job that Taggart left.

Losing to FCS teams is a very coug thing to do. Don't try to take their identity man. :tsk:

And didn't realize this, but if weren't for Wisconsin backing out of our series the past two years we wouldn't have lost to two FCS schools, so I blame Wisconsin not us for losing to the two schools we weren't suppose to play.
