So far, knock on wood, we are their Minnesota Timberwolves versus the Jazz a couple years ago. We kept losing to them, even though we were clearly the better team. I don’t know if it was a matchup problem, their coach was good, or what.

He got injured last season. Had a procedure and played afterwards but wasn't the same.

Hopefully this surgery cleans everything up. He has youth on his side, only 24. The Celtics are a different team defensively with him on the floor. But it'll take him some time to get in game shape.

Westbrook has his 2nd triple double off the bench this year. He's playing pretty well.

Mark Jones said that a few years ago, when they changed the rules for the FTs (something about how long you had to stay in the circle), his FT% dropped and has never been the same. I'm not sure what exact rule change he's talking about.

I think he's on the court with James and Davis more than a normal bench player would play, with the starters. But probably not as much as a normal starter would.

Conley has always been one of those guys who doesn't have the high assist totals, but when I watch him play, understands how to run an offense.

There are players that might average 2 more assists a game, but are worse point guards.

Then additionally, in an era where there are barely any perimeter defenders, he is one of the few perimeter defenders.

I also like Clarkson's analysis. He is a great teammate.

We haven’t played many sub 500 teams. And most of the ones that we have lost happened without him. That’s why I think it would be a difference. I didn’t think it would be a difference against good teams that should beat us.

Conley needs to make sure we beat the Pistons this time now that he’s playing.
