They're a lot higher on Josh Morgan than I am, don't know much about Andy Ibanez though

This morning Jamey Newberg had this to say about Morgan.

"Don’t be shocked if a year from now, Morgan is ranked higher than number 7 on every Rangers prospect list. As a catcher. Just don’t be shocked."

He said the experiment began at Fall Instructs and Texas "wasn’t discouraged."

If Tepesch makes the rotation, I have to think something else went drastically wrong (for 2016 I mean).

Not quite sure what you're trying to say here. The "As a catcher" part is throwing me off, Are they trying him out at catcher?

They tried Morgan out @ catcher during fall instructs...and they werent discouraged by what they saw. So dont be surprised if he's tried out as a catcher sometime this season.

I think he will serve as an insurance starter at AAA. We needed another guy there I think.
