Texas invites pitchers Myles Jaye, Francisco Mendoza, and Scott Williams, C's Kellin Deglan and Brett Nicholas to major league ST camp.
Brinson was invited also.

On a multi year deal? Yes. But upton is more likely to take a one year deal then Cespedes Imo and a one year deal fits our needs better as well.
You and I are on the same page on this one.
We appear to have help waiting in the wings, somewhat anyway, so getting a RH-productive bat on a one year deal appeals to me greatly.
Does anyone think if we did go this route, it could this puts MM on the block again?
Hope not unless we get Prince some legit help
I'm just wondering "IF" this were to come about - the Upton move - then it's probably going to mean more DH time for Hamilton. So something has to give.
We would be DH heavy and budget heavy. For both reasons I think Mitch would be dealt and probably Tolleson would be dealt as well for budgetary reasons. Or they could simply trade Choo and keep Mitch and Hamilton where they are. You might be able to free up a little more money by with Choo than Mitch and Tolleson combined. There is a very small chance that any of this will happen though in my opinion. I kind of think Upton and Cespedes will get close to what they want even if it is late kind of like Prince did a few years back.I'm just wondering "IF" this were to come about - the Upton move - then it's probably going to mean more DH time for Hamilton. I would rather do the multi year deal with Cespedes and eventually have an OF of Mazara, Brinson and Cespedes with Gallo at 1B in 2017. We would keep the draft pick that way also.On a multi year deal? Yes. But upton is more likely to take a one year deal then Cespedes Imo and a one year deal fits our needs better as well.
Waiting for Fraley's tweet or article about Colby getting a 50% raise after posting an ERA closer to 5 than 4 last season. lolColby's 1 year deal finalized.

I don't really see any of it happening. Without the talk of adding another OF I wouldn't think Choo would be traded at all, but if by some outside chance we do acquire a big bat for the OF then I think Choo being traded sometime within the next year would be a very real possibility. Overall the chances are very small though. And that implies choo being traded, which I don't see happening.

Long term how long do you expect Choo to remain in the OF here?It would certainly be in the realm of possibility.
