No More "Bullpen Failure"
I wonder if the Rangers will have any interest in Sanchez for catching depth.
I would say he doesn't mind going out on a ledge.Columnist’s fearless sports predictions for 2016
Gil Lebreton has some interesting predictions for the Rangers scattered throughout 2016.
Jan.--Rangers sign free agent 3B Chris Johnson
Feb.--Rangers trade pitchers Keone Kela and Nick Martinez and outfielder Jairo Beras to Brewers for catcher Jonathan Lucroy.
March--Rangers leave Arizona spring training with starting rotation of Cole Hamels, Derek Holland, Martin Perez, Colby Lewis and Chi Chi Gonzalez.
April--Rangers’ Opening Day lineup against Mariners: DeShields, Choo, Beltre, Fielder, Lucroy, Hamilton, Moreland, Odor and Andrus. Cole Hamels pitches season opener.
May--Yu Darvish activated from Rangers’ disabled list.
July--At All-Star break, Rangers lead AL West with 51-39 record … Adrian Beltre, Jonathan Lucroy, Shin-Soo Choo and Cole Hamels make American League All-Star squad. Rangers sign dry-docked veteran lefty Cliff Lee to prorated $4 million contract.
August--Rangers promote Nomar Mazara from Triple A to replace injured Josh Hamilton.
Sept.--Choo, Beltre homer as Rangers clinch AL West for second year in a row.
Oct.--Rangers advance to ALCS with series win over Toronto, but Royals claim AL pennant in seven games … Cubs defeat Cardinals for first World Series berth in 71 years.
Still don't mind Hamels and Diekman. To me it was not a bad trade. Not sure how many of those guys would have progressed here but Philly is rebuilding. I may be imagining this but a month ago I saw a Philly article that listed the 5 projected starters and Eickhoff was not one of them which was strange.Don't forget about Eickoff. He has already had a some success with them. He had a 2.65 ERA with them in 8 starts with almost 9 K's per 9 innings.
Then there is also Harrison who wasn't diagnosed with a thyroid condition until he went there. If that thyroid treatment gets him to be able to gain some weight and strength and he gets some more velocity as a result then he could become a significant piece of that trade as well.

Yeah, I like it when guys aren't afraid to go out on a ledge. I like his Lucroy trade as well. That would be a nice trade.I would say he doesn't mind going out on a ledge.

I'd love it. But it won't happen. Just too many old farts have that "he's not getting my vote b/c so-and-so wasn't a unanimous selection" type attitude.
Missed it by THREE votes!
3 shitheads who should never be allowed to watch another baseball game.
Still, a new all-time record for voting %. 99.3!
One way to perhaps call a halt this type of BS is to publish who voted for whom.
Marcell Ozuna (FLA OF) for Chi Chi? Pray the Rangers aren't that dumb.
On the radio, they were saying they wanted Chi Chi and Gallo for Ozuna.
