The more I think about it Spence might be drafted to play purely on passing downs (and ST). He basically has Safety range and (small) LB mass (but not strength). They like to swap a lot of personnel in and out on 3rd downs-- those 1 man down, 2 DL sets with multiple LB/DB packages. The guy could be pretty valuable covering mostTEs/RBs . I just can't see him playing ILB on running downs even if they do find a stud NT to sheild him....

Chapman was to much risk,health issues I would have been disappointed had they taken him in the 4th round,let him be there in the 6th and then grab him

he's definitely not a bigsnack type guy. you almost have to view Spence and this guy as 1 single pick to move in and out down/situation specific

at the ame time Taamu had been talked about as a 2nd rounder for months...

it makes me wonder what made him fall ?

I like the pick,I was leary of Chapman I know they can do repairs on injurys that at one time would have been the end of playing anymore,

true, ta'amu isnt a sack guy, but he IS a run stuffer, and with the running backs in our division, we need that. and Cleveland picked a monster....overall, I have to say that the Steelers have one of, if not the best draft this year so far

best draft in a long time, on paper anyways
traded a 6th rounder and got 4 players inside the top 80 of most bigboards.

He may have gotten the reputation for being lazy. He does seem a bit slothy, But I think we can light a fire under his ass if thats the case

I want to see the next pick,it has to be either a RB,DB or WR,,,,,,,,I would go DB or RB,there should be a WR in the 7th worth picking up
