Evening, MS. Hey, being an Elk, you may enjoy this. You know how all of our Lodge prayers start with "Our Father who art in Heaven"...?

Last night, I was doing my bit as Chaplain at one of our funeral services, and there were lots of non-Elks. Well, one of 'em chimed in with "Hallowed be thy Name" and the rest of the room went right into the Lord's prayer. Heard someone giggle behind me when it happened...turned out it was the WIDOW. She'd been to enough of our services to know that WASN'T supposed to be the Lord's Prayer. And I'd like to think that the absent Brother (a fellow PER) was looking in from the Hereafter, and got a laugh out of it.

North I would have knelt down and carried out with the prayer. That's the beautiful thing most people don't know, you can mess up, and no clue on their part.

That's pretty much how it went. I just waited until they all said "Amen," and then said "And Lord..."

And went on with the real prayer.

But I'm changing the opening to "Heavenly Father..." from now on. What are they gonna do, fire me?

Ha! Please don't throw me in brier patch. When I was ER a pissed off a couple old guys and they started we can have you removed. That is what I said, it was squelched right there.

ghost If your a "salt a holic" like me and you got the bp pills ..what has helped me is I switched to using sea salt its a little better for you .. you can buy it in a grinder or in a box which ever you prefer .. I like the grinder.. we keep regular salt around for baking and some other recipies
