it was his arm injury that really did him in. You watch highlights of him throwing outs last year vs 2005 or so and the velocity is down about 12%.
I think Dalton could* be a good -- not great-- QB in the nfl , but not where he landed. The Bungholes inept coaching, talentless roster, and (nearly) annual whipping boy status to two of the most physical D's in the league is enough to crush even Andrew Luck. If you put Brady or Manning behind center for them right now, they'd probably rather retire. He'd work very well as a backup under Brees in NO with 3-4 years to mature.
