For sure, 2005 was the last time we had temps in the 70's for the races.
Cars go fast in the cool dry air. So we had great times to watch.

you gotta remember, most of the lakes are man made, with rocks and very little beach. some have nice sandy beaches but only when the water is 70% or more. as soon as it gets below 40% some areas have beaches, but mostly rocky edges with shrubs and shit. plus its hotter than hell so you have to stay in the water, then there are the sunburns.

better to drive for 3 hours and go to Cottonwood, or Sedona and go to the smaller lakes up there.
