long story short...i got him a RC minicopter that is a model of his from vietnam and put his tail number on it and made his division (1 cav) logo on the nose

I lost my Dad 5 yrs ago, and have no kids, so Father's Day has lost most of its meaning for me.

But on the other hand, my nieces send me Father's Day cards...they scratch out the word "Father" and write in "Uncle." Pretty nice of 'em.
