My daughter raises a pig every year for the fair. The damn thing always ends up thinking its a dog and is treated like a pet. She didn't make sale one year and we had to have it processed. None of us (daughter and kids included) had a problem with eating it. I guess the love of bacon is stronger than the love for the whole pig.

I guess I'm to soft hearted for my own good

1 more thing I had a buddy whose dad had a farm every year I would help them butcher 3 or 4 cow and in return I would end up with some of the meat I had no problem with that,in other words I can kill someone else livestock just not my own

Morning y'all.

GG, we usually come home from the fair with a pig and a steer. We bring them back and put some fat on them for a month/6weeks and then have them processed. That takes care of our meat for a year. I can barely stand to have meat from the store after having that.

we usualy get a 1/2 hog and 1/2 steer from our local butcher shop .. they raise and butcher their own animALS.. the store itself hasnt been remodeled since the 70's

Hair cut huh Misk? I used to get my hair cut almost twice a month, but then I taught myself how to cut my own hair a long time ago in college. I've saved a lot of money since then!

I get mine cut when it gets to be about 2"....it's about there now, and getting shaggy looking.

I like to keep mine short. Usually #2 on the sides and fingers length (width) on top. And it doesn't help that I have really thick hair that grows really fast.
