Well first I tried trading up, pretty much from the second pick on down. Failing at that, I was hoping he'd slide to a spot where I could get a deal done.

The second part would've been nice for ya. I think the hopes for trading up are fading...for me, anyway.

I didn't expect that many would grade this high here. In another thread about drafting rookies he wasn't even mention in the top 8.:gaah:

He's not bad, but Jordan looks like a better work horse. Still remains to be seen if Jordan can win the RB1 spot and is this going to be running by committe? Most likely.

Why do you assume that it will be a a full on committee?? If langford isn't the lead back i will be surprised...

I checked metrics on Langford, he was near the bottom of the best in most categories

Yeah I get that, but it's only one year for a young guy still figuring things out. I'm not crazy about him, just too early to say he sucks.

I'll wait another few months for that.

right... i know howard is seen to be good, but he was still a 4th rounder... Now, that really means nothing, but you don't give up on your Rookie RB who had a successful season for a rookie for a 4th rounder... at least not right away... If Howard is going to take over, then Langford is going to have to either get hurt or be crap...

Mis read your post the first time. Langford could very well be the lead back. I just loved Jordan fight for ever inch attitude and since this draft is basically throwing darts, he was the guy I wanted.

Just to make a little clarification - my liking of that pick has to do with our "dynasty" aspect. If anything for the majority of these picks becomes something close to a stud-like level in 2016, I will be very surprised.

Yup, no instant studs after EE. Just guys you hope can contribute, then develop into something more down the road. Which is why I was some what surprised that no deal could be swung for a pick. Guess everyone wants to be part of the draft party, even if they have low expectations for this draft.
