Obviously KC can't do a lot, but you're telling me Brady doesn't have anything to do with making the Patriots defense better? Or Russell Wilson didn't have anything to do with making Seattle's defense better? I don't think so. QBs who are the leader of the team help everywhere they can.

I’m telling you exactly that. Brady and Wilson had nothing to do with how their defenses play. It sounds great, but it’s BS. Now it would be different if KC was leaving the defense with short fields to defend regularly, but that is not the case. At all.

I don't agree. QB is the leader/captain of the team, he should motivate the entire team.

That,too, is BS. If you got a defense that just doesn’t have the talent (or coaching) then no motivation can overcome that defect over the long haul. That is just an excuse from the ABCers. You watch too many Hollywood sports movies.

The only thing he said that I didn't, was that your QB is in the top 10 of everything. I've been saying for what feels like an eternity that if you keep him, you build around him and that he's not the top priority when it comes to issues with this team.

I didn't say he needs to be replaced, I said he isn't worth the money he's probably gonna make next year and I said that he's not a top priority when it comes to changing things.

Kirk aint worth the money it will take to keep him. He isnt whats wrong with the team, but you could do better for less. And at the end of the day, if he cant carry the team, you might be better off moving on any way.

Brees is a top tier QB yes because of his career. If we are just measuring the last 3-4 years? Maybe not. But Rivers, no because he's practically done nothing for the Chargers. He's another stat machine like Cousins.

I, personally, wouldn't want to. I'm talking for the Redskins the way they are, they don't have a running game, they need better QB protection, need an overhaul in the front office or coaching staff first. Just because I say he's not worth the money or that they might be able to do better in the draft, doesn't mean he's what I would change first about the Redskins.

If Kirk Cousins has the right team around him and the Redskins were winning division titles and playoff games and contenders for the Super Bowl, there'd be no question he's worth that much and there's no way someone would be stupid enough to split that team up. (right?) Especially if he keeps putting up the stats he's putting up now. But those stats aren't equaling out to wins and that's what matters the most, or at least should matter.

Terry, I get where you’re coming from, but back to my point you don’t get rid of the most important part to building a team. Like I said if cousins is gone then there either goes your 1st rnd pick or multiple picks to try and replace. Then you might face the situation of players that are on this team worth keeping may not even won’t to hang around if they feel there is no qb. Free agents may not want to sign.

As you waste the picks trying to replace those picks could’ve went to getting the right team around the qb. Even worse if the replacement you get turns into a complete bust you go through the same cycle again and turn into what the skins have been for 15+ years before cousin Kirk
