They only want him to play perimeter defense. He won't be an offensive threat.

They won't get much from either - but coming off the bench as a role player - He would fit in - Personally - I would think they would prefer a young player that another team wants to give up on, but Dallas with the right player could easily get to the second round - and with a little luck could be a spoiler - It's nice to see them up and coming again
