Why do you think he'll pick bama?

Because it's about 50/50 right now, and yeah he's got a lot of hometown pressure, but he also has some people close to him that believe Alabama is the best place for him to get to the NFL.

I hope by "pressure" you aren't of the mindset that I have seen some possess that the only reason someone doesn't pick Alabama is because he was "pressured" in some other direction. The dude is from Kentucky. If he picks Kentucky, that is why. Because he wanted to play and live close to home.

Not saying that at all, but in this particular case it's different. The only thing that has kept him from committing to Bama already is the hometown pressure. He wants to play for Bama, but he doesn't want to disappoint everyone.

That isn't what other (bama insiders included) have reported from what I have read. He seems pretty comfortable and happy with Kentucky.

I don't think it is limited to Alabama at all. But I do think it is magnified in the state of Alabama to an extent that is almost unrivaled in the United States. That has its positives, and it also has its negatives. More ignorant people who would like to live vicariously through the hometown guy to play for "their" team and feel some sort of self righteousness because of that is one of the negatives.

That would be awesome..lol. Both of them will be tough to nab, but we'll see how things go with the coaches visiting with Dupre and Marlon in his ear. Dupre is heavily considering FSU.

I think we might get Elam tommorow its 50/50 but his HS coach said whichever school will prepare him for the NFL better will be a critical factor. My gut says he will stay home and go to Kentucky though so IDK.

When was the last time Kentucky had a player drafted in the 1st round? I think even if we don't pick up anyone else this is the best class Saban has put together. He addressed a position we really needed help in CB.

Yea if we dont get another commit i will still be extremely happy with class. Could be best in CFB history. If we get anyone else they will just be iceing on the cake.

I also heard that if Ermon Lane goes to FSU Rudolph could possibly decommit and possibly come to Bama or Florida.
