VT only brought in 16 this past class, loses a fair amount of seniors this year, and lost like 5 or 6 to attrition before the season started.

I think you're allowed extra for special hardship type things. Attrition, less than 25 the previous year, etc.

But I'm no recruiting rules expert, so I dunno.

2 or 3 guys won't qualify, some will decommit. We've probably got closer to 4 spots available instead of 1. With so many highly rated guys that have Bama as a top 2 or 3, this finish is going to be crazy.

A school is only allowed to sign 25 new recruits every year. However, some of those recruits can enroll in the spring and be counted against the previous years' class, if that class was not filled.
So, if Tenn. is signing 33, 8 must enroll in the spring and be counted against the previous years' class.

Someone decommited from Alabama to Auburn. Not the greatest information but I'm betting someone knows. He was a 4 star something? lol

Sometimes people think players decommited and in reality the team they commited to stops showing the love. They kind of want the player to switch. Usually for a better player at that position or room in general. Have no clue if that's the case here.
