I think so too. He'll get a few years tho.

It'll probably come down to shit-canning the AD again. Eichorst hired him without any kind of search. If the natives are restless four years from now, Eichorst won't fire him. He would look the tool for hiring him.
it will be like the fifties inb the Husker era

I honestly have a much better feeling than when we hired Bo.

After seeing what Riley did at the worst College Football program in the country, I have no doubt he'll find success here. He has just needed resources and has never had them.

Not a chance he's in it for the money pops.

If he was he would have taken the USC job years ago.

He's here for the exact reason he said he is. He admires this program and wants to return it to greatness.

Pops......Riley was making some $1.7 million per year at Oregon State by 2014. He coached there for what, a dozen or so years? That came after being a head coach in the NFL for a few years.

Mike Riley is filthy rich and has millions invested. This is not about money. He's here to try and make history en sech.

I don't see it getting that bad, but one never knows.

Nebraska needs a guy who can build things. Riley never built anything at Oregon St.

I roll my eyes when people throw the excuse on the table "It was Oregon St" "He couldn't get talent there."
If he'd been winning consistently the boosters would have opened their wallets for nicer shit.

Snyder made something outta nothing at K. State
Patterson made something outta nothing at TCU
Meyer made something outta nothing at Utah

I could go on and on with coaches who made something outta nothing in just a few years.

13 years at Oregon St.... Last 5 years

R_A would rather have his BoFarts again it seems

No.

No matter how bad things get under Riley, you'll never see me post that I want Bo back.

NU can go (3-9) and I'll never say I want Bo back.

I will say "I told you so"

Let me put it this way.

If Bo at Nebraska had faced Riley at Oregon State over the past 6 years, how many do you think Nebraska would have won?

I'd say maybe 1. Honestly.
