La Casa is weird though. For some reason I think they are closed the week between Christmas and New Year's. Big Fred's would be a good alternative, and I think my mom would like that more. I prefer La Casa, but Big Fred's is a close number 2.

La Casa, Johnny's, Mama's, Big Fred's. Flip a coin they're all good.

I change up frequently.

One I think is underrated (mostly because you can get really good wings and pretty good pizza as well) is Oscar's. Damn, now I want wings too. There's too many choices

I think Sortino's is pretty average, personally. I'll eat it, but it's not my favorite.

So what's everyone fixing for the game? I got some boneless country style ribs in the electric roaster. About 4-5 hours at 275 degrees and then will pull them apart for sandwiches.
Baked beans in there too slow cooking and wife made her potato salad.

We've got a smorgasbord goin' on here. Meatballs, Little Smokies, Pull Pork, chicken wings and wifey made up some crab dip for some veggies or crackers. She also made up a big 'ole bowl of her cranberry & pineapple desert thingy. It's got some homemade whip cream with small marshmellows in it. Can't wait for company to get here.

Sounds good. We just ate. All good stuff. Pork wasn't as good as off the smoker but good for winter food. Beans may of been the best I've ever made. Put diced pablano peppers in it. Gave it an excellent flavor.
