That's a hell of a argument there Cardale.

my point is that if you go to school you should go to school to get the education if you want to go play football then there should be a football farm league and stop taking resources away from universities and people are actually there to get an education.
wait a minute now
in the 70's ---- the time I attended school

I got my oil changed in my truck in shop class
then I went down the hill attendin regular classes ta pick up the chicks
then I played foosball afterwards
aaand ran track in da spring time

whats all dis learnin crap ??

I can't disagree with the bold.

However, football is actually revenue generating for the vast majority of universities. It's the Title IX sports that drain it.

Example: Women's Rowing has to have the same percentage of full ride scholarships and the same percentage of money spent on the sport .
How much attendance, concessions, and TV 'revenue' does Women's Rowing bring into the university?
.

Really?

It's been a source for laughs on SportsHoopla and other message boards for years now.
Forgive me, I'm new to the internet and only started following college football 5 years ago. My deep love of the Huskers has only grown by watching the penultimate game every season with Io_a.

Football in funds the majority of the other sports programs most college's (Basketball chips in) all others drain coffers.

This is my dinner tonight, minus the mater juice.
Just sliced up a batch of my homemade bacon. Haven't been able to find decent pork bellies for a few months, so I'm looking forward to it.
