We had our work hours and work days reduced about 3 weeks ago, in an attempt to limit the risk of contracting the virus. I'm working 3 days a week instead of 5. With the wife losing her job at about the same time, income is a concern. I got an email from our HR director yesterday saying that the company will pay me the same as if I'm working the normal hours every week that I usually worked, averaged out over the past year.

I was shocked. But very happy. That's how you build employee loyalty.

No storm for me. I'm semi-retired anyway. I'm doing some sub-contractor tech writing for a defense contractor while they've got no new projects starting up. Reading my tech material would cure even the most hardcore insomniacs in 15 - 20 minutes.
LOL !!

I'm still a werkin out doors and earning money aaaand being essential

go ta hotel and order food for room at night

I did not watch the spring video game. I sort of wanted to, but when the weather turned nice my wife said let's go outside and enjoy the day.

Usually, I will see morel hunters in our local park, have not noticed any. Other than that the park was really, really busy, and this park is 5 miles from the city, so people have to make an effort to get there. I think some showed up because it was a remote park and they thought there wouldn't be anyone else there. It has happened in the past, people come out thinking it is a nice lovely stroll, until they discover there are two seriously steep hills that must be walked up and down. Not to mention, the bathrooms are closed because of the Covid19 and not being cleaned, because of the parks remoteness.

the heck wit bathrooms en sech

find a tree ta lean back on and let the covid 19 drop in da hole ya dug
then cover the hole with the dirt it came from

then walk of quite contented

I checked my wild asparagus spots Friday and there was nothing popping through yet.
I found a handful (6) of small grey morels today in about an hour and a half of walking the river. Nothing to get excited about, but they'll go into some scrambled eggs in the morning. It's about to take off though.
.

Khalil and Carlos committed to Nebraska when Bo Pelini was the coach, stayed committed after he was fired.

Thank you Khalil, Carlos, and their Mom and Dad.

Another draft goes by showing how poorly Nebraska has recruited and probably more importantly developed players.

Not pointing fingers at any one coach or staff because there is enough to go around. But when you’re consistently not getting all conference players or even 2nd team all conference, you can’t expect to have players get drafted let alone win games or compete for conference championships.

I was just thinking that, other than Suh, when was last Husker player drafted in first round?? Guess I can look up, but to lazy now.
