I had heard JT was talking about how we were going to be putting receivers on the gunners for PR. Our receivers block pretty well, and would be able to keep up with the guy across from them. Not sure if this is different from what we were doing or not, but maybe we started to figure punt returns out?

We need to do something a HELL of a lot different than we did last year on PR's.

I can't stand to watch another return where we just let 9 guys run freely at our return man.

There were a handful of times where we even tried to return the damn thing and Westerkamp got drilled by all of them.

How in the fuck can you not get a punt return issue fixed after the first week? It's one of the easiest facets of the game. That's just dereliction of duty. That's Cosgrove stuff.

I should try and find those. They were unreal.

In the one picture there were 9 guys.......NINE Penn State players running towards Westerkamp and not another single Husker player in the whole picture anywhere.

This makes sense ONLY if we are attempting to just field the punt and make a fair catch.

But to my surprise, Westerkamp actually tries to return the punt. All 9 guys dogpiled on him after losing 1 yard on the return. Damn neared broke his leg.

Yea, our Punt Return was a damn joke last year. It is beyond me how you can have 5-6+ defenders around our returner and not one Nebraska player. Would be one thing if we ever went for a block but our guys on the line go at first and then just freaking stop and never attempt to really block anything

Bullshit RA the Nebraska OSU game was two fucking years ago. Why in the hell do they need to show teams in the big ten getting throttled by other big ten teams? Show close games or upsets but blowouts should only be shown if its a big ten team blowing out and non con IMO.
