Better than Michael Carter Willimas, or Victor Oladipo? I dont know what your obsession with McLemore is but hes lazy. He didnt want to do team workouts. He was out of shape in those workouts. Every time he gets the ball he needs to shoot. He doesnt always play 100%, and he falls asleep on defense at times. Also cant really score on his own that well he can shoot fade aways and pump fake for a pull up but hes not an ideal slasher.

Michael Carter Williams and Victor Oladipo= the best in this draft class.

Victor Oladipo is such a hard worker, and probably spends twice the amount of time in the gym as McLemore. Oladipo is also the better athlete. With Victor Oladipos work ethic and his athleticism he can be a star in this league.

McLemore has the best raw talent in the class. Plus don't act like you even cared about Michael Carter Williams before he dominated his first few games. Some players take more than their rookie year to show their true potential.

I just think McLemore reminds me of a poor mans ray allen. With a Michael Beasley work ethic Ben plays hard at times much harder than Beasley but hes just like Beasley every time he gets the ball he has to shoot. Could be a chucker as his career goes on.

Also remember Archie is 19. Its like if Harden came out as a freshmen instead of staying 2 years like he did. He was skinny af gained more muscle going into his sophmore year. But when Harden was a rookie he would get the ball slapped away from him. Once Archie gains some beef its gg.

Seriously though, he screamed bust. It wasn't like the other guys who were surprised. The Cavs knew he had asthma and sleep apnea. He was also out of shape. Other teams didn't know about the asthma and sleep apnea and still would not have taken him number 1!!!

How you spend most of your time studying basketball and players to make that big of a blunder is beyond me.

So you would have taken olidipo? Then HE would have been coming off the bench. The fact is the cavs are deep enough at the 1 and 2. They're weakness was the 3 and 4 and so they drafted the best player available to fill that role. People act like because he's out of shape his career is done. That's something that can be fixed in half a season. Besides like I said, he has something that can't be coached which is size, speed, natural ability to play defense and most importantly this guy can shoot like a guard. That's why most experts said he has the most upside because he is a 6-8 forward who can shoot better than most in the league today. He's a year out of high school give him time.

I have been over this in a different thread, the over weight is not an issue of conditioning as much as a issue of commitment and responsibility. You wouldn't show up for your first day on the job dressed inappropriately and unfit to perform your duties would you? What if one of your employees did?

TBH all of it is kind of minor until you put it all together with the fact he also stated he likes to stay up late. He just isn't going to make it with out being a project.

They should have made a trade or drafted somebody they could trade...and if all that fails FFS DO NOT TAKE THE KID who has asthma, sleep apnea, likes to stay up late and his out of shape.
