Huh? I would think you guys would be ready for it to end, too. Hell, you would have liked for it to have ended a couple weeks ago.
The regular season yes, and I am excited for the playoffs to start.
But then hell starts and we go months without the sport
Man I can't tell you how right on you are about that! For me, win or lose, the playoffs are my last chance to see the bruins for the rest of the season. Winning the Stanley Cup would be tremendous, but a close second is just making it that deep into the playoffs and getting another month with my favorite team.
I cant even consider the regular season and the playoffs the same game. I get a whole new feel this time of year. And getting knocked out is sad itself, but then losing my favorite team brings terrible times.
Like Jeff has said before us 2 in the ECF would be awesome. Some Olde Thyme Hockey two years in a row. The best thing about last year is that with the exception of Games 3 and 5 each game could have gone either way. We are pretty balanced together.
Very true, but even as a bruins fan I know that part of our success last year was due to injuries in your lineup at the beginning of the series. Injuries to our lineup by the end didn't help our cause either, but hey it's the playoffs and teams have to fight through adversity to be champions. Here's to hoping our teams meet in the playoffs with little change in the lineup
