Coming out of the bye, Washington is 0-2 and it is time to recognize that the rest of 2020 should be devoted to the rebuild, evaluations, and roster adjustments. To pretend otherwise is to ignore the realities of a team that is 2-7 and fading fast.

There should be no other talk of a playoff game or division title. That ship has sailed. There is nothing wrong with a rebuild and having the courage to admit it. Washington is rebuilding. Washington will continue to rebuild. Don’t ignore the obvious.

the most obvious thing that apparently needs repeating

This was labeled a Bengals pregame thread. Other than the WFT statement about fans this coming week, nothing here discusses the upcoming Bengals game. Getting tired of talking RR's hypotheticals, benefit of the doubt BS and his ever changing ideas about winning a shitty division to make the playoffs. Just put Haskins in already and lets see what we got. Otherwise, he and everyone else are wasting time. "If" Alex Smith is next years starter for the WFT, I'm certainly done as a fan after 44 years. We are in a prime spot with so many young players to include the QB situation and its time to roll with that. In many fans eyes, this is a rebuild so lets proceed that way and stop fooling yourself RR. Your credibility is starting to wain quickly. WFT fan base is a tough crowd to spew your BS too.

Not sure where these stats are coming from but they are BS. Dalvin Cook and Derrick Henry are leading the league in rushing and their teammates are not on that list.
You would think Bradbury and others would be there right? Our backs cannot even get to the LOS before being touched in most games but hey, let's put that on the backs who are leaving extra yards out there.

Smith is by far the best qb we’ve had since cousin Kirk. Smith these last two games so far are better than the 2018 Smith

Agreed. Would like him to attack mid range and downfield more.

Burrow has proven to be better to date for sure. Must be the coaching... lol...Or weapons around him...Or better protection...Or he is just plain better. Maybe Urban Meyer is full of himself, not sure.

I think we would both agree it is a little too early to make that call on either guy but Burrow has the early lead.

Didn’t we have a poster that said smith stunk up the joint in FA ? They forgot Lucas who played excellent when called upon and Schweitzer who has been at least competent .

I'm not saying they are terrible, but how exactly are Darby and JD wins in FA?

Right? It's not like we are winning games. My take is Darby has been solid, JD taking easy pitch and catches that should be going to Gibson.
