when I was in Puerto Vallarta in march, they had a trivago ad on tv ... same set up (and script probably) ... i tried googling who the person was and couldnt figure that out. i thought it was an ex Mexican national soccer team player but I couldnt put a name to the face.... went down a rabbit hole then and found out the old Mexican Trivago guy was a handsome actor that was implicated in a sexual assault so he got turfed. Brazil also has the same ad ... also using a good looking well known brazilian actor.
