@puckhead could have two of his favorite teams (I'm sure :canada: is number one lol) vying for Euro 2024 if the semi-finals pan out.

Also, in case you you missed it last night, Uruguay eliminated Brazil on penalty kicks. I expect Argentina to end Canada's run on Tuesday at Met Life Stadium, but I just want to see another strong performance from the Canadian lads.

Certainly pleased with events so far.
I think all three are a bit lucky to be still running, so everything from here on out is gravy.

That knee to the goalie’s face was legit. Wonder how much blow Diego had in his system during that melee?

I watched a documentary on him, it was utterly insane.
He was moderately high for games, then continued to party like no one else on the planet for three more days on zero sleep. Then he spent the next three days on a stationary bike trying to sweat out the toxins in time for the next game.

Rinse and repeat for years.

The arrogance of Lalas about a team that lost to Panama recently, couldn't beat Trinidad and Tobago to make the World Cup in 2018, and needed a stoppage time own goal to force extra time versus Jamaica last year.

Again, a strange way to say Allez Les Bleus.

I forgot there was a game today, stupidly came into the office.
On the plus side, Taco Tuesday for lunch is better than a bagel with peanut butter.

Oh my goodness, what an equalizer from Spain. The 16 year old from 20 meters out bends one in off the post. Incredible strike!!

I'm sure this will be removed later for copyright violation, but had to share it.

Edit: TSN has the broadcast rights, so this video should stick around...
