He probably should’ve lost his job after the 2018 WC embarrassment, but oh well.Yes, 15 years as a National team coach, especially of a major country, is almost unprecedented.
The national team expiration date is 6 years IMO. Anything after that and ideas go stale, coaches don’t connect with players the same way, too many favourites, too much video available to see how line your guys up etc. Happened with Del Bosque, happening now with Fernando Santos, probably starting to happen with Deschamps. He probably should’ve lost his job after the 2018 WC embarrassment, but oh well.
Good question. My initial thought is retirement, or tucked somewhere in the DFB bureaucracy. What next for Low? If I remember right, he didn't have much of a club management career before the national team? Maybe another national team?

He could also take the over the hill player approach and accept a lucrative MLS contract that he doesn't intend to finish out.Good question. My initial thought is retirement, or tucked somewhere in the DFB bureaucracy.
That's what his last boss did, if you consider the US Men's National Football Team of Soccer Squad the MLS of international jobs.He could also take the over the hill player approach and accept a lucrative MLS contract that he doesn't intend to finish out.
he won't have to dig deep, that's got sure. One thing's for sure, if he wants to stay in coaching, he'll have his pick of opportunities.
It would be the pits if he didn't.he won't have to dig deep, that's got sure.
I'm sure he'll find gold sooner or later.
I’m sure there’s a good joke to be had about Spain being fascist friendly leading up to WW2 in there somewhere. The cruel irony is that Spain scores courtesy of a Swiss bank shot.
