I think the Pogba price is absolutely insane (and I didn't think likewise about Ronaldo, Bale or Neymar's value because all three were worth what was paid for them) but that insanity is kinda tempered by the fact he's still young and might mature into the world's best midfielder and the money doesn't mean shit to Man United (I read one report that United will almost instantly make back 40 million euros just on initial marketing and sponsorships tied into Pogba).

The Higuain transfer is as if Florentino Perez went to a team that is worth a fraction of the value of Real Madrid and decided to spend like he did circa 2004-2006. Totally understanding that Juve is totally going for it, and I love that they are because I'll take anything that starts to break up the Real-Barca-Bayern hegemony in Europe, but a near world record fee for an ageing striker is always going to sound crazy to me regardless unless their names are Cristiano or Lionel. The fact he showed up to pre-season looking like Phil Kessel just a couple weeks after the transfer is even more concerning.
