The Browns after 30yrs of bad drafts finally had a winning draft. On paper so far they had a stellar draft. I was hoping the Redskins took a QB in the 2nd to 3rd round. Just think the Redskins traded a fortune to get RG3 and in the 4th round they took Cousins who everyone screamed at Shanahan for taking. Look at where they are now. I could see Cousins doing poorly and we sign Kap and at end of year Cousins goes to 49ers. Then we draft a QB.

It was a really stupid move! Doesn't matter how it turned out.

I got nowhere else to put this rant - so you guys get it (it won't be long).

Packers fans pointing out that Seahawks fans can't complain about Sunday's officiating because of the 2012 game in Seattle. So, they say the Seahawks can't bitch, but to prove their point they use a game from 5 years ago, that THEY'RE STILL BITCHING ABOUT, and will probably be still bitching about 5 years after Seahawks fans get over the officiating in this last game. Though, even I will admit, it's getting fun to post about the officiating on some news sites and watch 10 Packers fans go "but, but, but, what about the Fail Mary?" :dhd:

Ok, I'm done - back to your regularly scheduled silence.

(sorry @Pack 500, not you specifically)

The officiating is what it is. My honest perspective is that the pick six clearly should have been a TD. Two bad calls. The PI not called on Graham came on a pass that Wilson was clearly trying to throw away, so I don't believe that should be rewarded. It was also likely not catchable, which is what Carroll said the officials told him. And Troy and Joe did whine about it for like 20 minutes when they literally never said one word when Adams got clearly interfered with on a downfield pass. I found that very odd. Bottom line is think anyone objectively watching would say the Packers were the better team on Sunday. Whenever these teams matchup just bet on the one at the home. Easy game to handicap.

If I needed a QB, I'd do that in a heartbeat. The Skins are dipshits

They finally found themselves a franchise QB after years and years of searching then finally have a decent QB and they refuse to pay his asking price when it was reasonable. The same owner who didn't pay KC but the same guy who gave $100,000,000 to Albert Haynesworth. :gaah:

It was a stupid move but I feel since it did work out that Cousins became the starter that it does matter how it turned out.

Refs are human and they make mistakes. Why don't people bitch about their players making mistakes?

Exactly my feelings. I hate talking officiating really. Buck and Aikman whining about it in the broadcast really triggered a lot of it. The Seahwaks lost because they could not block a damn soul and made what was one of the worst defenses in the league last year look like the 85 Bears.

No chance. Not a big KC fan. But even if I was, he is too old to evolve with the jets. Don't forget the jets are at least 3 years behind normal status.

Cousins I don't feel is a top 5 QB but still a very good QB with a good completion rate.

I disagree, you can't think about it like that. Shanny is/was a fucking moron! What are you telling the guy you just gave up a shitload to move up for? Yeah, you are our franchise QB but we are gonna draft another one just in case you're not. Also, to be honest I still don't think very highly of Cousins.

I disagree. Shanahan never wanted RG3 so he had a backup plan in case Griffin failed by taking Cousins who he always wanted. It was a bold thing to do to take a backup QB when the team had other pressing needs. However it did pan out for them in the long run. Was it lucky, hell YES but either way it worked out.
