I'll tell you this much, my guess is the only folks who are more concerned about whether MLB can get thru this season is the NFL. Because something tells me that as goes baseball, so goes football.

The positive for the NFL is that they get to learn from the other restarts.

Also, NFL players travel a good deal less. Have only 8 road games. They spend the vast majority of their season at their team facility. Much easier to control that situation.

A lot less moving parts. You just need to be strict with guys and what they do when they leave the team facility.

The Brewers kinda suck outside of their bullpen being awesome. Mous, Cain, Grandal, Sogard, etc. are all gone or have opted out. Taking 3 of 4 here is very doable.

You brought up some salient points, no argument on any of them. The only negative to which I'll counter - and unfortunately it's a biggie - is the amount of direct contact amongst the players, along with the sweats, the cuts, the saliva, and other forms of intimate contact. I won't flatout predict that if baseball gets cancelled, it automatically means football will do likewise. But I wouldn't bank on seeing our Bears play a full season's worth of games.
